Review of Slender Man 2018 Full Movie

Review of Slender Man 2018 Full Movie: An incredibly disturbing account of a real-life horrific crime inspired by an internet meme. Tragic and haunting, albeit one-sided and incomplete (the two girls involved in the attack will be sentenced later this year). But it provides a rare look into mental illness in children, the effects of bullying and peer pressure, and the role technology and social media play in making a murderer. Creepypasta indeed. Beware the Slenderman has a great source material but at almost two hours long it isn't very good at presenting everything in an interesting manner, jumping from the crime to the lore to the science to the family in ways that feel poorly connected and without establishing a concrete feeling to convey.

What a crock. I know the case is real, the kids are real. Outside of those things nothing else is real. The parents seemed so eager to be on camera and have the entire thing videotaped and documented, but from only one side of the case. This seems to be more a film created by the defense, for the defense to sway public opinion to help the two girls out. Nowhere in there did they interview or even talk to the victim or her parents. They manufactured and coached the parents and another cast of characters to the point it seemed scripted. The documentary I think not. Show both sides of the issue. Piss poor job telling the story.

This is probably the creepiest new urban legend you will find out there and I don't really recommend this to anyone unless you are going in purely for scares and to be fully creeped out. The characters are quite underdeveloped here, even if their performances are pretty great at times in this sort of "found-footage" type. For me personally, I could not watch this again, just based on the "monster-slender-man" here which is easily the most creepy thing I have ever seen in my life and I just hope I don't get nightmares again from this tale. The first time being from all the "found tapes" posted on YouTube a while back. Just remember kids, this is not real, and I really hope it isn't and I feel kind of silly saying all this. O_o

This movie was awful, the ending was that bad it was hilarious, The creepiest thing about it was the pov views outside because you always wondered if slender man would pop up, the way he appeared and everything looked extremely cheap, poor filmmaking it was all over the place, also an unrealistic amount of different cameras. Not worth watching even if you find the slender man creepypasta interesting, this movie was just pathetic.

The film was good in parts it had a good ending but they could have done a lot better I liked the idea of the slender man but you didn't see enough of him and the whole movie is shot on handheld camera didn't work for me.

So, this movie is pretty creepy. It brings on a skin-crawling that I've not had a movie in a long time. Unfortunately, there's not much of a great story to go with it. Which is a shame, because the scare factor is CERTAINLY there. Horrible acting, horrible plot, not scary, Kickstarter money was 11,000 so that means its crappy.
