Review of Ted 2 Full Movie: Ted 2 is filled with more profanity and lots of bad humor. There are plenty of cameos from Morgan Freeman to Liam Neeson. The funniest part was when the two buddies Wahlberg and Ted were trying to steal Tom Brady's sperm. The rest of the movie was a hit and miss. Definitely good to watch once but the first one was better.

Not as overtly, roaringly funny as the first film. since it's a bit more focused on a full-blown story than a story as an excuse for things to happen of their own accord. This time, it's a proper social satire, but still with the same brand of off-kilter humor as the original. Not as fresh as the original, but still better than a lot of comedy films. As well as other comedy sequels, "Ted 2" has not that sense of surprise which we had on the first one anymore, but new characters like Amanda Seyfriend's Sam and Morgan Freeman's lawyer Patrick, we could enjoy ourselves with this movie. Ted and John are once again hilarious and, despite the trial arc isn't the best one ever created, it's interesting and enjoyable to watch Ted fight against the system to be considered as a human being and, finally, to marry and raise a kid.
Good sequel, good storyline, and funny but in places. Swearing does get in the way of jokes (although there is one funny F-word joke referring to F. Scott Fitzgerald). It also has its poignant moments, like the scene where John Bennett was in the hospital and Ted was saying goodbye to him thinking he was dying. It also has a very strong message - about having civil rights as a person, no matter what you are. Another massive achievement yet, Seth MacFarlane! Where part one aimed low for its entire running time, they actually tried to tell a story and create a few softer notes this time, which works. Sure, there are still a lot of non-PC jokes and the movie quotes are the most fun, just like the Comic-Con "showdown". But a few other moments are actually surprisingly sweet and not as toxic and cynic as the majority of the first time. A big step up. Ted 2 is a seemingly fitting sequel even if there was no demand for it. Many hilarious moments and quite a deep storyline, ted 2 certainly delivers in the entertainment. Packed with cameos and an all-star cast and the same humor that made the first one so funny, and also much more random. This film was definitely a time passer.

The second part of "Ted", returns to meet again with that teddy bear marihuana (whose voice is courtesy of its director Seth MacFarlane) and his faithful friend John Bennett, played by Mark Wahlberg. On this occasion, Ted has married supermarket cashier Tami Lynn but sees his life affected when he learns that the United States government does not consider him a person with rights. Although in appearance the "Ted" movies seem like vulgar and scatological comedies (and in fact they are), they always hide an acid satire of American society and a deep reflection on human relationships.
"Ted 2" will not be for everyone and will not be superior to its predecessor, but it's a very, very funny movie. If you're a fan of the first Ted movie you'll probably enjoy the second as well but I think everybody can pretty much agree the first one was a lot funnier. The performances are still decent with some laughs, the biggest problem is is the ho-hum story that isn't engaging. The freshness of the first movie is gone as well. All in all Ted 2 is a slightly fun little comedy if you enjoyed the first one just don't expect it to be as good.
Don't like it. All you hear is causing and dirty jokes. But the kind of reflects what our world is coming too. Like, people who are born naturally male changing their gender to female and vise versa, due to them thinking they are born into the wrong body/ with the wrong organ. Similar to this bear, who thinks he should be born into a human body considered as such.
Some good CGI and a fairly decent performance by Amanda Seyfried can't help a poorly written and at times incoherent script. Apparently the original story for this movie was going to have Ted and Johnny smuggle a truckload of marijuana across the US. That story had to be scrapped after "We Are the Millers" was released. I think that is the reason why this movie seems so lazily written is because the writers had to desperately come up with what they thought was a usable storyline. There are too many cameos here that contribute very little to the story.
Seeing Sam Jones in the original was funny and clever. Here his time on screen does not feel that way at all probably because we have seen it before in the original. Patrick Warburton and former "Star Trek: The Next Generation" star Michael Dorn are wasted in an absolutely pointless cameo as a gay couple. Why were they even in this movie, was it just for the paycheck? It sure seems that way. I am fully aware of the fact that "Ted 2" like it's predecessor, is supposed to be a fantasy movie. However I had a problem with the character of Ted's wife Tammy-Lyn. She is sexually attracted to a toy bear. That is just too strange to buy even for a movie like this. An occasional funny joke here and there help make "Ted 2" watchable, but you won't care much for what you have seen once it is over.
A sequel to the original comedy with a talking bear named Ted and his best friend Johnny. I don't understand the hate with Ted 2. It's not better than the first movie but it is still very funny. There are some extremely funny one-liners throughout Ted 2. Of course, it has a serious story they want you to believe in but let's be honest, we just want to hear Ted speak. I didn't like that at certain parts they would they would say something and then cut to another scene showing what they just said. Its very Family Guy-like and I know this is Seth MacFarlane, but I would like them to leave that to Family Guy and not bring that style to film. Ted 2 is a solid comedy that has a bunch of laughs. It's not better than the first film. But it is a hell of a lot better than most comedies these days, I enjoyed it.
A strained, unfunny sequel, at best. The pervasive "oppressed black" gags are anachronistic attempts at social commentary, and the gags themselves quickly become oppressive. Beyond that, the metaphorical social commentary on marginalized minorities is completely off the mark, because Ted is, after all, only a toy...a piece of property. If anything, comparing an animated piece of property to marginalized minorities is an even bigger insult to marginalized minorities. And it's not even a funny insult. Ted 2 supports its script into an impossible these (is Ted a human?) what makes this movie dumb and without sense. However the performances are great and some of its jokes resulted, it's just pity that the spectator can predict every joke even the last one that is supposed to surprise.
