Review of The Predator 2018 Full Movie: Me coming as a huge fan of Xenomorph's I would love to see this movie and know about Predators but first I would love to see the original Predator with Arnold to get to know the series before seeing this movie. By the time the new Predator movie, simply titled The Predator, arrives in theaters, it will have been eight years since the hunters from another world graced the silver screen. We already know some details of the film’s plot thanks to Thomas Jane, but in a new interview with Pop Culture, star Jake Busey had something else to add: the film feels in line with the original.
Director Shane Black, who wrote the script with his Monster Squad co-writer Fred Dekker, previously confirmed that the film remains in the continuity of the first two movies and isn’t a full reboot of the series. He said there is a reference in the script as to why the film has a singular title, and that the film will carry an R rating.
Where did I start with Quinn? You find that he performs missionary work, basically, collecting a check. If you have something that you need to do in Mexico, I'm the type. He is separated from his wife, he is separated from his son. I think the essence of the story is to reconnect, become the father of the child and reconnect ... and get all those kinds of looney tunes that have no direction, give them a sense of purpose. I think that in the long run, this is what Quinn considers critical.
What attracted me was that ... this franchise lives just like Macbeth or Hamlet. What attracted me was that it was a completely new story. If you want to compare apples and oranges, the story is about [the first predator], you know, an Austrian general or a soldier, so it does not fit. With this character, I think what Shane wanted to do with the whole story is to give him full freshness ... competitive for demographic films that are also in the genre. Give him a heartbeat. Stay away from magic, firearms, and weapons. This is really what I have. And I like this movie! But I think that we are preparing to do something really different here.
I think both are very funny, you know? And, obviously, I do not want to play twice, but I'm also looking for strange things.
