Review of Warcraft Full Movie

Review of Warcraft Full Movie: This movie had some flaws like the occasional plot confusion, but if you actually played World of Warcraft you would know this movie brings a whole new light to the everlasting war between orcs and humans, and I sheds some light on the true side of many mainstream characters back-stories.

Warcraft has a finesse only video game fans can see because most famous critics are in their 40s and older and don't understand what someone who played the game can. In all the movie itself was great and the storytelling was its only flaw, it's action scenes were very well animated and-and the similarities between it and the game are almost spot on. If they had only given a little more background in that opening scene like they sit to explain it more I believe it could have been a five star. Nothing else to say besides that maybe those video game movies are starting to succeed and this movie is proof I got the DVD this past week and popped in on one TV while another TV was showing the Alabama-Florida SEC championship game.

I'm a huge sci-fi fan, but fantasy movies for me have been on the wane for the past 40 years or so. This movie had a lot of potentials and kept my interest through most of the movie. The dying planet aliens looking for new home, beautiful Blue-Green jewel called Earth. Sound familiar? Yeah, we've seen that plot over and over again in the past 60 years of science fiction movies. This time it's a hoard of Orcs using a portal gateway something to invade Earth. At any rate, it had a moment or two, but I can understand why it didn't do well in the theaters. I don't see much of a market for a sequel unless it's on Netflix or Amazon.

The movie was great. I remember playing the original Warcraft when I was in my teens, and I played each installment as they came out. I was really riveted by Warcraft III and played it multiple times. The reader that I was at the time (and still am), I became very curious and interested in the story of Warcraft. I liked the idea of warring tribes coming together to face a common "foe." I read the little pamphlets and found the complexity and the history quite riveting - almost like a modern day Lord of the Rings. When this movie came out, I was both interested and wary. I have seen movies that were real duds, made by people trying to cash in on a franchise, providing something of little actual value to the fans that helped make the franchise. Seeing the reviews here, I had a real suspicion I was going to waste a couple hours watching it. On the complete contrary, I felt a lot of love and appreciation for seeing this film. It kept with the lore. The characters had the depth to them. The acting was fine - maybe not spectacular, but I'm not a big nose-in-the-air movie critic.

What I can say is that they were believable to me. They were believable as the characters they were meant to portray, the characters I read about in the game supplements and such. I was so happy they put the money in to really bring the game to life in a live-action way - I thought the special effects were amazing and loved it very, very much. I feel a lot of antipathy towards the critics who are rating this movie so low. It seems to me like maybe they have been infected with the feel - the feel, in this case, is a sense of feeling "left out" of a community that formed around them while they were busy fulfilling other duties and pursuing their film critic careers. They don't seem like people who would be fun to be around, thus perhaps the reason they take a personal satisfaction in ridiculing a fun-loving franchise that attempts to be meaningful without being esoteric while also requiring a certain amount of focus and energy to be fully immersed that some might consider "wasteful." What's wasteful is spending your life pursuing things outside yourself without ever actually enjoying what's there for us to enjoy.

I enjoyed this movie as I enjoyed the games and hope they make more :). Given this and the reviews I see, it really makes me think that critics, particularly critics who weighed in on this movie on this board, ought not to be given the platform they currently enjoy. There is something unwell about them - watch yourselves critics. Maybe take a break from all your narrow-minded focus on what makes a good movie and actually get to know a gamer in your community. Maybe then you'll understand. Or at the very least, admit you don't know good movies from bad ones - only ones you think are good based on your personal preferences. In any case, they are certainly worse adaptations out there to be giving this one a palsy 27%. Please enjoy so that they can make the next one.

While it does have it's flawed this is one movie to watch for the stunning visuals alone. Now don't get me wrong, if you're here for the story you've come to the wrong movie, if you're here for orcs and humans fighting with well-done CGI perhaps you'll enjoy this flick. Now the humans look as if they don't fit in the environment of the digitally created world and I would say that is the biggest flaw here aside from the story. I'm not sure if this movie would work better as a fully CGI picture or not, this is considering the weak story aspects that still would not hold up. The armor on the human characters looks wildly cartoonish and does not fit their bodies. Many of the characters look unrealistic, the wizards look laughable. It takes itself far too seriously for a movie based on a video game, especially considering it's pop culture reputation.

The orcs carry a lot of emotional weight in the film but the development of their characters always seemed interrupted by the break-neck pace of the story nobody cares about. Many characters that are supposed to have emotional resonance fall short because nothing is given to make you care about these characters but entire scenes are built around their peril. The ending seems to tease a possible sequel when they didn't focus on this one enough to make me care all too much about a second. This movie could have been a very niche classic but instead has become just another movie based on a video game.

The movie worth more than 5 stars. For people how don't know the Warcraft universe seems like Lord of the ring ... but definitely is not. I had been reading the world of Warcraft books for a long time, I almost finish them all. I know what is going on in the movie and that why I love it so much. If you are a noob, yea, of course, the movie is so bad but even so try to catch up a little bit with the story, make some research and after you understand what is going on you can say something about the movie. I hate people without any idea how comments about the movie, knowing nothing about the lore, about the characters, about the universe.... calm down, sit down, read something about the universe and after that you can come here and cry. Thanks to all people how does not have any idea what is going on in this movie and give 1 star or 2! LOVE THEM! And for the true people now know something about the movie, I can say just that: Lok'tar Ogar!

I'm a big fan of Warcraft games. I played with them from childhood. Games were able to be tightened with a plot and a beautiful picture. So when in 2006, the game maker Blizzard Entertainment announced that it had joined the Legendary Pictures film studio to prepare for the shooting and the release of the film on "Warcraft," I was in seventh heaven with happiness. Long 10 years of waiting: the change of directors, scripts, the project's heavy frosts and, finally, the film came out. But is it good for the viewer, both for the fan and for the person not familiar with the games? To solve this issue, I went to the film with my wife, who never played at Warcraft. So I made a general evaluation of the film. So, let's begin.

The first part of the game "Warcraft", which was released already in 1994, was used as the basis for the film. A special story the game did not shine. However, later published books brightened up the events of this game, adding intrigue and coloring. The plot of the film, still different, and from the game, and from books. A lot of reworked scenes gave the film the opportunity to understand it to the ordinary spectator. However, the events in the film seemed a little crumpled. The director wanted to tell the spectator so much that 2 hours was not enough for a full and sensual viewing of the film. Events are changing too fast. Only, like, you begin to empathize with one hero - we are quickly transferred to another, not letting you talk about the first one. And there are many similar actions in the film. Did not finish the drama to worry about the characters. Humor in the film is, but, for the most part, for people who know the game. There were no surprises in the film, although there were many hints of it.

The game of each actor did not cause a disgusting reaction. But the disclosed characters here are counted on the fingers: Lothar (Travis Fimmel), Durotan (Toby Kebbell) and Dreka (Anna Galvin), the rest play neutrally, without causing vivid emotions. Graphics, effects, scenery, costumes, directing at a very strong level. Orcs and other races and creatures, built on the chart, look very harmonious. The world is transmitted with a soul. The atmosphere of the game is present. And references to games cause an immodest smile. The film, in general, turned out to be a bouncy, bold, independent fantasy with (naturally) a clear hint of a sequel.
