Review of Jab Tak Hai Jaan Full Movie

Review of Jab Tak Hai Jaan Full Movie: Shahrukh Khans latest phenomenon of India is Jab Tak Hai Jaan movie. While many elements of the story feel very, been there and done that in term of Bollywood romance movies, it is still an entertaining watch. Some parts of the story are pretty over dramatic and hokey and the movie moves at a sluggish pace in the beginning parts. However, it builds up to a final act that packs a pretty emotional and sweet punch. The movie also succeeds in honoring the late Yash Chopra in its final moments, and it certainly adds to the movie's effect as a whole. As a whole, it isn't a life-changing movie, but it is overall a good one that fans of this type Indian romance should check out.

If you enjoy a tragedy-filled love story, you will love this. If you want something more than the typical tragedy love-story, there are many other movies you can pick from. That being said, this movie isn't horrible it's entertaining in many ways, to list a few: the journey itself, the story and Anushka's character Akira.

All due respect to one of the godfathers of Indian cinema, his legacy though I hope is not remembered for this sellout, confused and dull sloppy mess of a movie. Incredible soundtrack (as ever) but it makes me wish it was a great album rather than an average movie. Indian cinema might just have passed away with Yash Chopra.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a nearly 3 hours long Bollywood flick about a man that works for the Indian Army and is a Bomb disposal person. The difference is that he defuses the bombs without the safety of a suite or anything of that nature. The story finds us immersed in his journey and we go back in time after a reporter finds his journal and is interested to find out more about this man. The movie then leaves the Bomb plot line for about over an hour to take us back to how he became a bomb specialist.

Who or what caused him to take on such risk? It all came down to as always the love of women. They had an epic love story and the dude challenges God to allow him to see the women again if he lives dies blah blah. You will be enthralled by the movie and fall in love with the story and characters. It does have the Bollywood songs as well but nothing stand-out as the big hit song for me.
This is Yash Chopra's last film before he passed away and as always it has that high quality and all the elements you expect in a Yash Chopra masterpiece. A movie you have to watch if you are a Shahrukh Khan and Yash Chopra fan whenever these two get together they have made movie magic.
Totally worth to watch.

Young kids should watch this with parents as the bomb scenes can be a bit far-fetched as to what is reality and what is not.

This movie is a topper, entertainment, drama, and what are Indians famous for? Their fantastic ways of displaying their love and passion through dance, a must see and spectacular film. It's 3 hr but this movie flies with the great wings that carry it. I can't wait for the next. It is so unfortunate that this had to be Yash Chopra's last movie. It had all the terrible aspects of almost every Indian movie - a confused love triangle, a Cheeni Kum sort of story between an old man and a young girl, some accident that brings about amnesia, and a lot of praying to God. I don't know how I sat through this movie.

The movie is one of the most irrational by Yash Chopra but as always it works. Anushka Sharma allows the movie to laugh at its own stupidity although that does not diffuse how ridiculous the plot is. The second half is too stretched. Dance sequences and music are good but not great for a Yash Chopra movie. All that said, the movie is Yash Chopra beautiful and emotional.

been awhile since I've had my guilty Bollywood pleasures' this was a good welcome back. katrina kaif was best (the feisty-looking Anushka Sharma chick ain't too shabby either) and even uncle shah rukh looked hot as major Anandand! ok so the movie kinda ended with a limp after all that, but who cares really.  Definitely high on the entertainment stakes. quite love.
