Review of Tomorrowland 2015 Full Movie

Review of Tomorrowland 2015 Full Movie: Tomorrowland was given a hard time by the critics. Two-thirds of the way through I couldn't see why. It's a fun, family movie with an interesting original premise. There's plenty of action, a surprising amount of comedy and an engaging cast (Robertson really shines here and proves herself a very capable physical comedian!). Plus the whole film looks stunning. A glorious production design presents a future that feels tangibly modern yet simultaneously retro, presenting playful nods to the 1950s vision of the future Disney built in its theme parks.

Plus there's a potent, positive message at the heart of it. What's your problem? And then we get into the third act. Pacing issues start to creep in, the underlying conspiracy at the heart of the story becomes a little confusing and then the environmental message is delivered full force straight between the eyes. It's a shame. If Bird had deftly delivered the moral core of Tomorrowland the film could have been both a powerful and enjoyable mainstream movie. Yet it's didactic final tone is so heavy-handed it makes even the most liberal-minded viewer (like me) feel a little awkward. However, up until then, Tomorrowland is fresh and fun. I guess if it does sacrifice that in the end by trying to galvanize us to save the world, there are worse cinematic crimes.

Not what I was expecting - I thought I'd be getting a mystery set in Disney World's Tomorrowland - but decent anyway. Whenever you see me watching a Clooney movie it is more for my wife than me anyway - she's a huge fan. This movie explores deeper themes than the usual Disney fare: should Utopia be for everyone or only the most gifted? It keeps your interest, has some cool destructive gadgets and and sleek, futuristic vehicles and settings. It's worth a watch. The reason for the mediocre reviews from both users and critics is beyond me. This was an intelligent, entertaining, and mature movie. That's saying quite a bit considering it was PG-rated film. It's quite possibly in the top three live-action PG movies I've ever seen. Tomorrowland disappoints even more when seeing great actors play less credible characters.

I liked this movie. Great acting, a pretty good story, and awesome visual effects create a good movie. Just one thing makes it lack a bit, and that is the fact that the final battle that was pretty cool, just didn't impress me as I would have liked it too. I give this movie an 85% more like 'yesterday and', the title destination remitting most of the screentime to exposition: a Tomorrowland-splaining, agrarian excursion. robertson is a true abomination, a jumpy control freak who really can't act. never mind a plot - it's as if Disney goaded this to be a commercial self-advertisement, hiring a discordant bird to ensconce just one keynote: the future doesn't have to be morose. a spasm of thought bubbles with no game plan.

I believe the message this movie wants to give is powerful. Even if critics were mixed, I think this movie is just awesome! a fun adventure film. the story gets a bit muddled at times, but on a higher level, it's easy to digest and follow even for the youngest viewers. the acting is great, all around, and it really stands out. the plot isn't necessarily unique, but it knows what it sets out to do, and does it pretty well. The visuals are amazing and the acting is very good. But the story is one of the worst to come out of Disney in quite a long time.

Love Love Love! it's so futuristic and gets into how the future is very important. That dreamers and the younger generation is the future and has a huge effect on our world and what we do with it. Goes into the awareness of how we need to take care of our dear earth before it's too late for the human race. Best movie I've seen in a long time. Really shows how we need more optimism in our life in order to have the future turn out right for the best general of human life later on.

Takes a long time to get going and after lots of slow pacing, we hit a solid pace. The characters are very thin and the story is all over the place. Releasing this film in the action summer season undoubtedly contributed to this films downfall. the film is its worst enemy as it hasn't a clear audience target. Shame it suffered a box office loss as these high concept ideas are worth the risk.

Caught this again and I think it has only grown better with age. The film is an odd mix of hope and action but it does develop characters when most action films fail at this task. There is just something about the film that keeps this from being your average Disney film, I'm actually shocked they made this film. Bird has created something ahead of its time and I think the audience that ignored it will find it in the next generation. This film just had the unfortunate task of generating an audience in the midst of comic book fever, something that is starting to die down, look at Justice League.

Tomorrowland is a disappointing film. It is about former boy-genius and a bright teen who embarks on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space are known only as "Tomorrowland." George Clooney and Britt Robertson give terrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. Brad Bird did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture. Really enjoyed Tomorrowland, I watched it after I saw its 60% rating, loved it. Characters were well rounded and the plot well written, left just enough unsaid for the viewer to imagine the moments unseen. Would love to see a sequel!
