Review of Wonder Woman 2017 Full Movie: Wonder Woman is the latest from the DCEU, and possibly the best one yet (even though I rather enjoyed the director's cut of Batman v Superman and I'm sort of leaning towards that over this currently. I know, kill me) Gal Gadot completely owns her role and reminds everyone why they were excited to see her in Batman v Superman, despite mixed initial thoughts. Chris Pine is also really good and serves as a great backup to Gadot, but make no mistake, this is a female-lead superhero film and a rather good one at that.

The action is fantastic to watch, and the story hardly feels like it skips a beat. Despite these positives, I could've done without the first and last 5ish minutes of the film, and the final showdown, while awesome, just felt like it wasn't trying hard to be something different. This was a tad disappointing because the rest of the movie was just really good and fresh. There is definitely feminism in this film, but not the man-hating, bra-burning type which is nice to see a change of pace from recent films *a cough 2016 Ghostbusters a cough*. Wonder Woman proves that not only can a female lead comic book film work, but it can also inspire.
This was a bad movie. It's like they took Captain America, set it in WWI, removed all the fun parts, and decided special effects and explosions were better than plot or even good action sequences. Full of tropes from start to finish there was absolutely nothing original about this film. The reveals were lackluster and hardly surprising at all. At times Diana felt like a second fiddle to Trevor, even to the point where he is the heroic sacrifice and she, with all her godlike powers, stands by and just watches him die. More disappointing is the fact that by the end of the film Diana outright says she gave up on her mission, and most trope like of all, now believes that love will overcome all mankind's ills.
Boring and predictable from start to finish this is one to wait on. Maybe get it in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart.

Fantastic movie! Easily the best superhero movie I've ever seen. Lovely chemistry between Diana and Steve, great fight scenes, humor and emotion in the right measure and a beautiful message of honor, values, and sacrifice, and all of it was portrayed in this movie in a wonderful way! Sorry, MCU, your avengers can be as famous as there are, but they will never be this wonderful!
I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. It's a decent movie. And I love the character of Wonder Woman but to pretend this movie is on par with an award-winning film is silly. It's ridiculous to pin this with the feminist award, too given that WW is a fictional character written by men, and dressed for man. When women pick REAL heroes, we just might get REAL progress. The Amazonian princess Diana's quest-come-self-discovery!
From all the superhero films, this was one of the most anticipated. Mainly because of the woman-oriented theme. People were desperate to see the solo woman superhero. Today, we have the great visual effects technology, that anything can be possible to bring on to the screen. And actress like Gal Gadot, even better it gets. Yes, it was a wonderful film. A simple storyline, but a well-made film.

Who would have done a better job than Patty Jenkins? She nailed it, and so set to direct the sequel too. Even the supporting cast was good. DC's visuals always high standards and so this one. Action sequences too amazing. There are lots of changes in the character, as well as in everything. Firstly a nice superhero costume. And connections like Diana's father, the island, all pretty nicely written out. The DC universe just got extended. I can't wait to see 'Justice League'.

Starts off pretty good as we get Wonder Woman's story when we see her as an aging girl on an island filled with Amazons. Nothing too stupid so far. Then a man enters the place, there's a war going on, WW joins in since she is down to kill Ares, the reason for all the hatred. It's a bit stupid now. They team up in London. She is not blending in well, he is not making it too easy for her. Some bad guys are up with some gas that gives you powers when you snort it. Now it's pretty stupid.
The story mixing - a real war, mixed up with morphing Gods is not turning into something nice. The mess of a final is way out of hand and my last thoughts were: "Oh, this is just too stupid". All about Gal Gadot for me. She can't act at all, she just stands there and looks pretty. She's really good at that, though. Cool to see Lisa Loven Kongsli among the cast and there's a few other casting treats here as well. The promising first 30 minutes or so was the big height here, the development was the big downer.
This was the most exceptionally beautiful and inspiring film I have seen in years. I can't wait to see more of Wonder Woman! (I even went to see Justice League, which was a mistake: the franchise is seriously mishandled in that film. Let Diana stand on her own unless you are going to write a story worthy of her!)
